Sri Gowthami B.Ed & M.Ed College is established under the management of Sri Gowthami Urban & Rural Integrated Development and Educational Society (SGURID), Darsi and affiliated to Andhra Kesari University, Guntur and Approved by NCTE, Bangalore in the year 2007. Our College is permitted by the Govt. of A.P. with an intake capacity of 100 seats for the B.Ed Course and 50 seats for M.Ed course. We offer B.Ed and M.Ed programs designed to prepare future educators with the skills and knowledge needed for successful teaching careers.

SGURID & ES extended its institutional services to further elaboration of establishing Sri Gowthami Degree College in 2005. Understanding the lack of training colleges or institutions for the teaching and educationalist postulants of Darsi and surrounding Mandals, it started "Sri Gowthami College of Education" in 2006

Our M.Ed program is designed for aspiring teacher educators and educational researchers.
