Admission Procedure

Sri Gowthami Degree and PG College offers B.Ed and M.Ed programs for aspiring educators. Follow the steps below to apply for our Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Master of Education (M.Ed) courses.

  1. Explore Programs: Learn about our B.Ed and M.Ed programs.
    • B.Ed: A 2-year undergraduate program for graduates aspiring to become teachers.
    • M.Ed: A 2-year postgraduate program for candidates with a B.Ed degree seeking advanced training in education.
    Review eligibility, course duration, and fee structure on our website.
  2. Check Eligibility: Ensure you meet the admission requirements:
    • B.Ed: A bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
    • M.Ed: A B.Ed degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university.
  3. Submit Inquiry: Fill out the online inquiry form with your details, including name, email, phone, and preferred course (B.Ed or M.Ed). Our admissions team will guide you further.
  4. Application Form: Obtain the application form from the college office or download it from our website during the admission period. Complete the form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.
  5. Document Submission: Submit the completed application form along with the required documents, either in person or via email:
    • 10th and 12th mark sheets
    • Bachelor’s degree mark sheets and certificate (for B.Ed and M.Ed)
    • B.Ed degree mark sheets and certificate (for M.Ed)
    • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last institution attended
    • Valid ID proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card)
    • Passport-size photographs
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  6. Entrance Test/Interview: Admission to B.Ed and M.Ed programs may involve an entrance test (e.g., EdCET for B.Ed) or interview, as per university or state regulations. Details will be provided after application submission.
  7. Admission Confirmation: Upon selection, pay the admission fee as per the fee structure. You will receive a confirmation letter and enrollment details.
  8. Orientation: Attend the orientation session to learn about the college, faculty, and academic policies before classes begin.
